Waitrose Give a Little Love Scheme
We were delighted to receive a donation of £333 from the Waitrose Give a Little Love Scheme which supports people in the community. The cheque was presented by Sarah McGinty, representative of Waitrose, to the year 7 and 8 group during their training session on the 23rd May 2022.
Gemini Head Coach Chrissy Bannerman said ‘it was a fantastic surprise as the club was nominated by one of our member’s parents, which makes the donation extra special’.
Gemini Head Coach Sharon Duffield said ‘the funds will directly benefit the club members and have already supported the entry of two teams in an U14 tournament in Basingstoke which was a fantastic opportunity for match play following hard work in training’.
