Jamie G Sporting Trust Donation
Gemini Netball Club was very grateful to receive a donation of £1083 from The Jamie G Sporting Trust during their training on the 18th September. This was a third donation from the local charity which brings sporting opportunities to young people in the Andover area and was set up in memory of Jamie Gentleman. Jacqui Gentleman and Adam Knight (Trust Committee members) were delighted to present the cheque to the U11-U15 groups who will benefit from using the equipment in training and matches.
Jacqui said ‘The array of bright yellow luminated the hall at Andover Leisure Centre where the Club trains weekly. It was so lovely to speak with the Juniors, expressing their love and joy of the sport. The Trust has seen the growth of Juniors joining this Club over the years. May this continue!’
Gemini Head Coach Chrissy Bannerman said ‘we are proud and grateful to link with The Jamie G Sporting Trust. The Trust has supported us from our launch in 2020 and continues to allow us to provide opportunities for local children as we expand to 4 match squads this season’.
